ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Develop and maintain productive relationships with Hiring Managers and external business partners to ensure a successful start-to-finish recruitment process by defining and executing appropriate recruiting programs.
Establishes and maintains relationships with a variety of potential sourcing resources including career centers, job board sourcing websites, governmental agencies, college placement centers, trade schools and related organizations.
Coordinates advertising schedules in appropriate media. In addition, posts job requisitions on company intranet and targeted job boards such as Monster, CareerBuilder, Ladders, AMA, University alumni sites, regional/industry specific job boards and social network sites.
Actively participates in budgeting process, contributing relevant data based on specific process ownership or initiatives.
Utilize recruiting applicant tracking system to manage candidate data to use as a resource in developing, tracking, and analyzing reports that measure the life cycle of open job requisitions in terms of days open and time to fill.
Interviews and screens applicants for business competence, applicable background, and skills qualifications to ensure that the Hiring Manager's requirements and protocols are followed.
Makes employment recommendations based on information developed through interviews, reference checks, applications, and resumes.
Develop candidate correspondence, generate offer letters, rejection letters and send new hire packages. Conduct pre-employment skill set tests, background checks and drug screen compliance.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience recruiting for IT positions both network and application is essential.
