ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
¨ Provides a variety of loading, unloading and moving of materials within the warehouse.
¨ Meets schedule requirements for shipping of materials.
¨ Performs inventory of the warehouse
¨ Cleans and maintains warehouse to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
¨ May operate a forklift.
¨ Assists in production areas as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Forklift and Power Jack Certification
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
