Administer all aspects of CMBS product accurately and within specified time frames and maintain complete and up-to-date recordkeeping for internal and external clients and their representatives. Optimal assistance with respect to the administration of accounts. Duties include mortgage documentation review, calculation/distribution of payments to investors and reports to interested parties, maintaining mortgage/note registers, filing and other administrative functions associated with specifically assigned accounts.
Major Responsibilities:
Verify and process all aspects of paper copy and/or electronically upload information as per derivative product guidelines.
Prepare and distribute monthly department reports and where necessary report exceptions to Professional, CMBS for resolution.
Maintain document and temporary custody vault.
Balance account, process monthly entries and complete tax reporting for derivative products.
Respond to telephone and written inquiries to provide satisfactory response in a timely manner.
Ensure accurate and timely billing for services performed as per fee schedule and contribute to the reduction of overdue receivables, as required.
Complete special projects and support and assist with other Company initiatives.
Ability to lift boxes up to 20 lbs
Willingness to work overtime as required
Education and Experience:
Post -secondary education desirable (e.g. business administration, finance courses, etc.)
Canadian Securities Course, Trust Institute training an asset.
1-2 years general office experience.
Strong commitment to high level of customer service.
Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
Flexible within a constantly changing environment.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Familiarity with commercial/residential mortgage loan documents would be an asset.
Knowledge of mortgage-backed securities would be an asset.
Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet stringent turnaround times as necessary.
Intermediate experience with Outlook, Excel and Word are necessary.
